Bellmont, in conjunction with Victoria Police and Holden, released the new Centaur Victoria Police VE Divisional Van at a presentation held at the Royal Melbourne Show grounds, in September 2009.

The Divisional Van was the first of a number of innovative automotive products to come under Bellmont’s new branding name - Centaur, which V8 Supercar driver Tony D’Alberto is helping to promote into the market place with a range of media and marketing activities.

The new Centaur POD has been a comprehensive vehicle accessory development in conjunction with program partners, Victoria Police and Holden.

This new product is the replacement vehicle for the existing Victoria Police Holden Crewman Divisional Van. The Centaur POD is fitted to the latest Holden Model Year 10 Commodore Ute, with more than 200 vehicles rolled out across Victoria to provide a superior level of service and reliability for both Police and the public alike.

This development has been a breakthrough in engineering and design by Bellmont, incorporating a number of key features, including electronic and safety features not seen in these types of vehicles before, offering benefits for both occupants and officers.

Most importantly this has been a great example of Australian industry ingenuity and in particular, local Victorian manufacturing. Bellmont and its team of skilled craftsman are very proud to have been involved in such an exciting vehicle development.

Centaur is developing a range of  innovative vehicle enhancement and commercial fit-out options for not only GM Holden utes, but other makes and models of vehicles, including Vans, to suit both emergency service and response activities, leisure and lifestyle, and also commercial & trade applications.

The latest product to launch is the Centaur Sportsvan Body, which can been seen in further detail in this BROCHURE.
